Services · Hire me
Work you can hire me to do.
Bring an idea, a problem or an incomplete concept. I’ll help explore the possibilities and develop a practical result — a prototype, a custom object, a small piece of software, or photographs that show it well.
Prototyping & custom making
Turn an idea or problem into something you can hold, test and improve.
You might need help with
- You have an idea but aren’t sure it can work
- You need a part, enclosure or mechanism that doesn’t exist
- You want to test a concept before investing more
- You need one custom object, or a small batch
How I can contribute
- Explore ideas and possible solutions with you
- Run quick concept and feasibility experiments
- 3D model enclosures, parts and mechanisms
- 3D print, build, test and refine prototypes
What the work could produce
*Where a small run is a sensible fit for the design and quantity.
Have something like this in mind?
Discuss your ideaElectronics & software
Make physical things respond, move, sense or connect — and build the software around them.
You might need help with
- A device idea that needs sensors, motors or a microcontroller
- An object that should do something when tapped or touched
- Simple automation for a repetitive task
- A small web app or tool to go with a physical thing
How I can contribute
- Build microcontroller prototypes and device interactions
- Wire up sensors, motors and simple automation
- Design NFC-enabled objects and experiences
- Write small web apps, useful tools and supporting interfaces
What the work could produce
My background in software and computer-vision research helps when a project needs data, cameras or careful testing.

Discuss your ideaPhotography & creative work
Clear, considered images of products and objects — on their own or as part of a build.
You might need help with
- Product photos for an online store
- Images for a campaign or promotion
- Creative imagery that shows a product’s character
- Help with prints and photographic printing
How I can contribute
- Plan and shoot product photography
- Create campaign and promotional images
- Style creative product imagery
- Support photographic printing-related work
What the work could produce
Commission photography on its own, or add it to a product-development project so the thing we build is ready to show.
Have something like this in mind?
Discuss your ideaHow a project usually goes
No spec required. Just a starting point.
Talk it through
Describe what you want to make or solve, in your own words. Sketches, photos and links all help.
Explore
I suggest approaches, flag what’s uncertain and, where useful, run small tests before anything big.
Build & refine
I prototype, test and iterate, sharing progress so decisions are made together.
Hand over
You receive what we agreed: the object, files, photos or tool — with notes on what was learned.
Questions
Before you get in touch
Do I need a finished idea or technical details?
No. A rough idea, a problem you keep running into, or a half-built concept is a fine starting point. Part of the work is figuring out what the right thing to make is.
What size of project suits the studio?
Opend Studio is an independent studio, so it’s best suited to exploration, prototypes, one-off builds, small software tools, photography and small production runs where they make sense — not mass manufacturing.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what the work involves. If you have a budget range or a deadline, include it in your message and I’ll suggest what’s realistic within it.
Can photography be booked on its own?
Yes. Product and creative photography can be commissioned independently, or added to a prototyping or product project.
Not sure which of these fits?
You don’t have to pick a category. Describe what you’re trying to do and I’ll tell you how I could help.
